A book case for books by book lovers, created in collaboration with Kyoto's famous bookstore Keibunsha.
Keibunsha has a history of putting purchased books in simple paper bags to prevent them from getting damaged, so we started developing a special book case that can be used to store books when you purchase them or carry them around.
The gusset is thin and the size is large enough to accommodate magazines.
Since there is a little extra at the top, It can be folded and used according to the size of the book being stored.
For the material Adopts ``unbleached No. 10 waxed canvas.'' The waxed fabric is firm and the wax will repel it even if it gets wet in the rain. It is a material that will get used to it the more you use it.
When I thought about it for the sake of the book, it ended up looking as close as possible to a paper bag.
The retro illustration on the surface is Made by Mihoko Seki, a stencil dyer who also creates signboards for Keibunsha.
The book case is decorated with wonderful designs that give you a nostalgic feel, like those printed on paper bags.
