Ballistic Nylon

This is one of the strongest domestically produced nylons, used by the brand since its inception. The yarn used to make the fabric is "ultra-strong 66 nylon," originally used for military purposes in the United States. Its denier count, which indicates yarn thickness, is 2520D. It is said to be six times stronger than ordinary nylon.

Cordura Ballistic PVC

Among Invista's famous mil-spec fabrics, "Cordura Ballistic" is the designation given to highly durable nylon. This fabric is treated with PVC on the back to provide waterproofing.
