The 50th House of Representatives election was announced on Tuesday, October 15th , and the election campaign has begun.
Advance voting will begin on Wednesday the 16th , with voting taking place on Sunday the 27th .
The WONDER BAGGAGE Official Store will be offering an "election discount" from Monday, October 21st to Monday, November 4th (national holiday), where anyone who votes will receive a 5% discount code.
Until last time, you were required to show proof of voting, such as a voting certificate or a photograph taken at the polling station, but this time it will not be required. We will leave it up to your conscience.

Aiming for a healthy society
Our store has held discount campaigns every time there is an election with the aim of increasing voter turnout. We will also be holding a discount campaign for those who vote in this House of Representatives election.
Every time there is an election, the low voter turnout, especially among young people, becomes a hot topic. One of the reasons people often give for not voting is a sense of resignation, with people saying, "Voting won't change anything."
It is true that no matter who becomes a politician, life may not change dramatically immediately. Many people will likely feel that their daily routine will continue as before: working, getting tired, sleeping, and waking up again.
I don't vote because I have any expectations. I don't vote because I want to change something, but because I want to live freely. I would rather live according to my own will than live a restricted life that is dependent on others. This is because ultimately, it is I who bear the consequences of my choices.
I am fairly satisfied with my current life. I can eat every day, sleep in a warm futon, and enjoy my hobbies on my days off. Although I am not completely satisfied, I am grateful for the freedom I have. However, I feel that there are still many problems in society that need to be solved.
Something may change in this election, or it may not. Still, I believe that having more opinions reflected will be a step towards a "healthy society." I believe that it is more important than anything else for each individual to actively participate in society. I hope that through this initiative, we can raise interest in elections, even if just a little.
