What is BOSTON BRIEF?

Boston bags are one of the most important items for travelers, and they require storage capacity to suit the type of accommodation one will be staying in. Meanwhile, briefcases are required for businessmen to have the functionality to carry their work tools. The "BOSTON BRIEF" is an evolved version of the traditional Boston bag, incorporating the functionality of a briefcase, making it suitable for a more versatile lifestyle.

A bag born in an era when travel equals work

With the spread of digital devices, work tools have changed and work styles have diversified. Work time is no longer limited to the office. People are increasingly opening their laptops on business trips, working remotely, and even on personal trips. As the boundaries between work and home become blurred, there are no bags that match this style. A bag that can be used for overnight stays while traveling and also for storing work tools. The designer designed this product based on his own style.

Travel bag for up to two nights

This bag has a storage capacity of 18L, which is considered small for a Boston bag. It is designed to hold only the bare essentials of work and a change of clothes, making it suitable for use for one to two nights. While the zipper opening of a regular Boston bag runs straight across the top and is small, this bag's zipper runs all the way to the gusset like a Madison bag, opening wide and making it easy to access items.

Features for getting work done

Thick urethane is sandwiched between the front and back bodies and the bottom of the main body to absorb external shocks. The interior PC pocket can hold up to a 16-inch laptop, and the pocket in front of it has two sub-pockets for storing gadgets. The zipper pocket opposite is designed to store clothes and personal items. Above that is a hanging pocket for small items such as keys and earphone cases. Its specifications are comparable to those of a regular business bag.

Simple and functional exterior

The exterior has a simple design at first glance, similar to a Boston bag. However, there is a zipper pocket on the back, which when opened reveals two separate open pockets inside. This allows you to store items you want to access quickly while traveling, such as a smartphone, wallet, or notebook. The gusset can be fitted with a shoulder strap (sold separately).

The main material of this Boston bag is 2520 denier ballistic nylon, the strongest in Japan. Thick oil-shrunk leather is used luxuriously for the handles, skirt and bottom. Metal is used for the parts and zippers. The use of these materials not only ensures high durability, but also allows you to enjoy a texture that deepens over time.
